On Feb. 12, the Sierra Nevada Republican Women’s Club presented its annual Woman Entrepreneur of the Year award for 2024.
Jann Fargnoli and Jan Muzzy were this year’s committee co-chairwomen, and nominating members Karen Bennett and Lauren Welch introduced their candidates. Garnering first place was Teressa Bennis, owner of Just a Drop, Essential Oil and Gift Shop, with Carol Drew, owner of A Restorative Massage, taking second place. Each received a floral bouquet from former award winner Lori Britton of A Wildflower. Last year’s award recipient, Pam Horton, owner of Millennium Medical & Spa Suites, also presented the first-place winner a gift certificate for her Spa. The SNRW presented Teressa with an engraved glass plaque to display in her shop.
