I hate the place. Having spent a lot of time working in mexico for the past ten years I have been there on several occasions. Mainly just for use of the airport. I did go on a couple of Mexico road trip vacations where I passed through and spent the night. Personally I find no appeal to the place. As for the P4P I used to use a local bartender that had a number of girls that were available for a fair price ($100 all night). Cancun is an over-priced, corporate, tourist, rip-off nothing else. You can begin to see how big of a scam area it is when you load into the vans to take you wherever you are staying which were 8 USD per person. If you so desired to have a taxci drive you the short distance to your hotel it would be 30 or 40 dollars. A taxi to the airport from centro is less than 10 dollars on the reverse. Is shouldn't even be considered to be a part of Mexico. There are much better places for p4p. You'd be better off going to South Beach, it's cheaper.
