CDI College to Host Massage-A-Thon at Edmonton North Campus on April 19, 2013

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Apr 16, 2013) - Massage Therapy program students at CDI College are hosting the first-ever Massage-A-Thon in support of the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation. The Massage-A-Thon will take place at CDI College's Edmonton North campus on Friday, April 19, 2013 from 9:00am - 7:00pm.

Program: Massages will be provided all day long for a minimum donation of $10. A BBQ lunch will be hosted from 12:30 on, and a silent auction will be held throughout the day. Winners of the auction will be announced at 7:00pm. Items up for bid include a barbeque dinner for eight, a 90-minute massage, gift baskets from Massage Essentials, the Massage Therapy Supply Outlet, Epicure and Spasation Salon and Spa, as well as a hockey stick autographed by the current Edmonton Oil Kings team.
Visuals: Large-scale massage event with 18 stations and nearly 40 massage therapists in action. Charity BBQ and auction on site as well. Peak photo opportunities for the event will be from 12:30 to 2:30pm.
All proceeds raised by the event will go directly to the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation to help fund specialized equipment, specialty medical education, research and specialize programs to improve patient and family outcomes at the Stollery Children's Hospital.
