Question Covid

With the rise in numbers of covid cases, anyone have second thoughts about visiting places ? I stopped by at Xiaoping 2 days straight and there are so many cars in front which I decided not to to go in. Is this just me or..?

It's not just you. I have visited a couple places since the spas opened up and each time had second thoughts on my way home.

I think wearing a mask...both ways...makes me feel secure enough. The sanitation and covid 19 screening are satisfactory for me.

I’m not one to often comment on this forum but I feel compelled to give a heads up. I was at Crawford massage in Sherwood Park. After my session I took my time leaving and watched the lady clean up room. She simply used the same cloth she had used to wipe up my juice and wiped a few spots off sheet. Smoothed it down and left it. Soooo I think the next dude in laid on my squirts.

A lot of the places I’ve been to drop the masks and protocol once the door closes and its been business as usual. I haven’t witnessed any clean up so have no idea.

Yes...and this is why xiaoping is one of the few places that are regularly busy, and have a loyal customer base: they take all areas of customer service, very seriously

Just another note about Xiaoping in case some guys have reservations- They also have you sign a contact form so that if there is ever any covid infection associated with XP they can contact all the customers that might be infected. I think it also serves as a legal consent stating that you are taking responsibility for any 'exposure' while you are there.

-Interesting, because I went to Massage Heights Brewery to see a student masseuse- no form to sign.

I appreciate that they're taking steps to contact trace should something happen. XP is taking the pandemic seriously, and with good reason. One, it protects us, and second, if things get much worse than they are now in terms of spread (Edmonton is becoming Canada's hot spot) we might end up with things closed again. I'll wear a mask and fill out a form and do whatever it takes to keep things open.

Keep your infections in your own neck of the woods, and we don't need prices to go up any more in cowtown anyway.

LMAO, btw, for anyone who took my note above seriously. Blown away by how the mass stupidity has stepped up to an even higher notch. Any folks here following the scientific papers on Memory T Cells, and cross over immunity from T Cells activated by common cold corona viruses? These are the first lines of defence before antibodies can even be generated by the B cells. Between last December and this March, there is a reasonable chance that many of us already faced covid in our offices, restaurants, malls, massage places etc etc. Funny thing is there is no social outcry about Obesity in all our wealthy nations, where people are cringing in fear of covid. Nor about air pollution in developing countries that manufacture everything that our porky mindless people buy and consume in extra ordinary quantities. Oh yeah, forgot, we are now transitioning.. expansionary move to the green economy. The first step would be for all Canadians to head to a more temperate climate so we stop heating our homes, don't you think?
