Have you been offered a job on a cruise line? You ask about $1,750.....is that per day? per week? per month? Something you might want to consider is the amount of money you'll be spending. Liquor tabs can run high. I worked on a cruise ship (not in a massage capacity) and I saw many crew members owe the cruise line at the end of the month because they spent more than what they made.As far as working you to death, I would be concerned with what that will do to your career in the long run. If you weren't thinking about staying in the business, then it might not matter. But, if you want to stay in it for the long haul, I think you could do some damage by doing so many back to back massages. When I go on a cruise, I always make sure I get my massage early in the day. I can't imagine that the last massage of the day is the same quality as the first massage of the day. It's easy to be drawn in by the "glamour" of it all, but it's really not all it's cracked up to be.
