Prior to Reiki Massage Metaphysical Healing Service, Hunt initially served as a paramedic for almost two decades. During the transition from emergency medical services to the next phase of his career, Hunt reflected on the different ways he might be able to help people through physical and energetic healing pathways. “I really had a passion and interest in more organic healing,” says Hunt. “And massage therapy is something that’s always been a significant interest of mine.”

Before pursuing massage therapy and Reiki, Brown worked across the hospitality, retail, manufacturing and medical caregiving industries. In 2020, Brown experienced a traumatic brain injury while at work. Over the course of the recovery process, Brown became acquainted with a massage therapist and saw potential for a new career path that was particularly meaningful and rewarding.

“Going through this healing process, with these people, really changed my outlook on life and things that I would want to do with my life,” says Brown. “And I wanted to help other people on their journey of healing, as well.”
