Another funny story:

after a long session massage, my customer agree to give me $250 , then I recognized what that 250 mean in Chinese, I said:" how about $260, because $250 in Chinese is stupid, then customer asked :" how about $240?"
I said:" $240 is not good either, because 4 pronunciation is same as death, so Chinese doesn't like" 4", so when chinese buy a house, they don't choice 4 number usually , for example:"4, 14 , 54, 144..."
Then customer asked me :" how about $270?"
I said $270 is not good either, because 7 pronunciation is same as "tragic" or " miserable "
I said :" or you give me $280, 8 is lucky number in Chinese "
Customer said:" oh that is too much"

Then he Etransfer me $500, I said" hahahaha you gave me two $250,
