I have gathered a few holistic centres that are intrested in fighting the new bylaws as well as fighting for our rights as holistic owners, if we all get together as a group and fight for our rights we will obviously get further as opposed to a individual fight
I have spoken to the president of the Canadian Examining
Board, as he is the person who has fought to keep the hike for the $10,000 dollar increase to a minimum.
As the new year is approaching we will be affected by the new bylaws ie. if we are given more than three bylaw infractions we will be unable to renew our license, unable to operate until we are heard by the Tribunal board, I can say for myself it is almost impossible to not recieve three tickets thus not being able to operate as a result, to this day I have been into the licensing
office on Elizabeth ST. and they have informed me that there are
certain actions we can take, for instace there is a cap on Body Rub
licence's so we are unable to provide a body rub massage in a holistic center, on the same note even if we wanted to obtain a license for a body rub service we cant, not to mention that all of our bylaw tickets are related to body rub services, there has been a cap on the Body rub license's for over 5 years which is practically unheard of at licensing,
with my continuing investigations I have found individuals at the city of toronto that would also be able to assist holistic owners with this fight
If you are an owner or are intrested in helping us fight
for our rights as holistic owners than please contact me
@ 416 259-8234 and ask for chris thank you.
