Is it rude to get a regular massage in Bangkok and not ask for happy ending?

Ok, it's not that simple. I actually want to go to one of those skanky looking ones because (1) they're pretty cheap without the happy endings and (2) I still want to get massaged by a pretty lady. I know it's contradicting, but I'm just not in the mood for any happy endings at the moment. Is it normal for someone to get a regular Thai massage at one of these places but refuse a happy ending?

You seem to give me suggestions or questions that have already been addressed (in my last post, I already mentioned that I did ask the masseuse even though you told me why not just ask him/her. My question was for what everyone thinks based all of the facts that happened). For this question, I already mentioned I still want to be massaged by a good looking lady. I am just not used to being massaged by men or old women. If there are non-sleezy places to do that, just let me know. I am new to Thailand and don't know a whole lot about how things are run here. Also, you never really answered my question. It's really a yes/no and you can give details if you want. But you seemed to have given me alot of response that does not answer my question.
