Kijiji Advertising Policy

I was communicating with KIJIJI recently using CHAT.
They allow ads for RMTs but not other kinds of massage.
This is odd seeing that TCM and holistic practitioners have been approved in Ontario for decades.
I will be negotiating with them this month to remedy this problem.
Craigslist also blocks holistic centres from doing business.

What are you talking about?

A quick scan/search for massage on Kijiji in Health & Beauty in the GTA (TO +50km) show no fewer than 20 ads for massage with no reference to RMT and only 4 with RMT reference

-From indy's to clinics to spa's to centre's, incalls and outcalls;
-Massage for full-body, table shower, vichy shower, scrubbing, sea-salt body scrub, thai, Hawaiian KaHuna, foot, couples, Ayurvedic, hot stone, relaxing, fun, deep tissue, back walking, swedish, shiatsu, rythmic, rolling, shoulder, neck, aromatherapy, scrapping, back-walking, oil, meridian, fire cupping, tuina, holistic, athletic, relaxation, rehabilitation, couples;
-by pretty, sweet, super friendly, super nice, experienced, caring therapists, practitioners, experienced massagists, asians, indian, girls, males

And that is just in the last 6 hours.

So, what problem are you trying to remedy?
Looks to me like you are trying to find a problem to fix and may just create a problem in the process.

I think they allow the old customers to renew.
Anyone who ever has used Kijiji knows they can be a headache.
They are rather strict with real estate ads to prevent you from over-posting for free

That is a totally different issue, and in my experience becomes a headache when you try to get something for free when they charge (they allow a max. of 2 ads. free with some exceptions) or if you are trying to post basically the same ad more than once cluttering the listing with the same bloody thing over and over again.

I know several on that list, and being allowed to renew has nothing to do with them being allowed to post. They simply follow the rules for free or pay up and all is good.
