Massage parlor workers charged with prostitution - KSDK

DES PERES, Mo. (KSDK) - A massage parlor has shut down and two women charged after police say they were selling more than just rub downs.
Investigators say the women were prostituting at the shop in Des Peres and companies near it say they had a feeling.
Computer tech Brandon Hammack works right next door to the Rong Hua D-Stress Sauna and Massage.
"And as you can see, we have the same ventilation as they do," Hammack points out.
And he claims those vents afforded him an unusual audio link.
"You'd hear anything from showers to very odd noises that you shouldn't normally hear," he laughs.
Police arrested two women, one 62, the other 40, who worked at the massage parlor.
Following a tip in an anonymous letter, Des Peres Police asked an undercover agent with St. Louis County Police to set an appointment.
In August, the agent came in for a 50 dollar massage but says one of the women offered a bit more, a sexual proposition.
Investigators say the other was caught in a sex act with another customer.
Hammack says, aside from the noises, there were other red flags. Like a doorbell to get in and the clientele. No women frequenting this massage parlor, he says, just men.
"Every day you'd see people walking by, checking the door and if they were closed, turn around, walk back out real quick," says Hammack. "That was the dead giveaway when they walk up slow acting like everything was normal, it's locked. They run away."
At the home in Chesterfield listed as the owner's address as well as the address for the charged women, nobody answered.
The Des Peres Police Chief says the business owner made the women sign a contract stating they would not engage in prostitution. He has not been charged.
Meanwhile, The City of Des Peres revoked the massage parlor's business license.
