Prague newbie - my first post!

Thought I might update you all.....I am definately going to Prague with a buddy in the first week of January. We intending to book the flights this coming week and will then sort out accommodation. I spoke to someone today who has been to Prague (not a punter) and they said that it is best to stay in the Center. I know people have advised against doing this on the board, so I am going to look into getting an apartment. There will only be two of us, so hopefully it won't be a problem finding somewhere. I thing we are planning on staying around 3 nights.

Bringing escorts back would be no problem because you don't see anyone again after you've arrived. Been to a few clubs but don't remember what they were called. They were basically lap dancing clubs and offering sex upstairs if you wanted it. The thing is, when you're out with a group of mates you want to enjoy yourself a have a few beers and relax and a few laughts and I've always found that if you use clubs that offer a 20 min quicky, you can empty your dirty water every now and then and others in the group that may not be up for it at the time, isn't left twiddling their thumbs all the time and you don't feel that as good as the sex may be, you're not missing anything that may be going on in your absence. Jags Bar is an excellent place for looking at totty, they are the hottest birds that I've seen in Prague and you don't get ripped off on the drink prices. Normally at the end of the night we give Dessert a ring and they send a taxi out to pick us up free of charge, then spend an hour with the girls at a cost of 2200 cz and then they taxi you back free of charge as well. The girls there are ok but like most places it all depends on which girl you choose. I've never been to FKK but I'll definately be going there when I return in October, sounds really good.

I've been to Prague a couple of times and each time we've rented an appartment from a guy called David Lindsay. You can e-mail him at [email protected] and he will send you pictures and information on all the appartments he has available. We have always found them clean, tidy, spacious with plenty of bathrooms and WC's . We try and stay in the centre of town near Wenceslas Square as it's a pretty good central location. Both times we've never even seen a Brit stag do, thank God, but I'm sure if you look for them they are about. The cost of these appartments worked about

I believe that Prague is very safe except for pickpockets and you can easily travel alone.

I'm glad the public transport system is good. I know you said to stay away from the streetwalkers, but out of interest how much do they charge?

Could you possibly tell me more about Vinohrady accommodation and the best way to book it? I am considering travellling alone as my friends may not be to interested in mongering. Do you reckon I would be safe alone? I am not a very big guy lol.

I would recommend that you don`t stay in the center, it`s overpriced and full off pissed English stag parties. The public transport here is fantastic, you can get nearly anywhere in the city in about half hour. When I used to come here on holiday I would stay in Vinohrady, near Nam Miru. Prices are great and it`s only 10 mins walk to the center. I now live in Smichov which is just the other side of the river near Andel metro, this is a really great area. Beatiful part of town, both modern and old school plus very cheap and hardly any tourists.

K5 is just behind the church at Nam Miru in prague 2. The price is 3900 kc for an hour which is about 90 quid. I have never been there myself but it is apparently a really upscale place.

On the other end of the scale is the sex park (prague 10, holesovice) which is 1000 kc (25 quid) for half hour. A complete shit hole, I would avoid it.

You best bet would be to get hold of a czech sim card for your mobile (Oskar, pay 500kc for the card and get 500 kc call credit) and call some of the privat`s listed on Escort.cz. Prices range from 1000 kc to 2000 kc for an hour, patience is required as not all speak English but it is possible to find some great women.

Well first off accomodation.
In my experience (coming from Denmark) a package deal with plane/bus transfer plus hotel bought in my own country is the cheapest way to go.
My recommendation is to buy hotel and airplane at home. It is very difficult to get cheap hotels in Prague as a single traveller.

About the sex:

Captain Nemo is only a stripclub nowadays (isnt it??)
sexpark www.redlight.cz is cheap (1200 crowns pr 30 mins) but the service is mechanical.

dont be nervous the worst thing that can happend is that you choose a girl that is bad in bed, something that happends even to the most hardcore prague traveller like me.

Streeetwalkers are found near Wenzel Square (in chezh waslavska namesti) STAY AWAY from them, also dont go with any of the people who offer to take you to sexclubs ( they have T.shirts from the night club eg. darling) in the city center they are tourist traps

This is my first post on the board! I am in my mid twenties and thinking of going to Prague later in the year. I have never been before and am quite nervous as I have never punted abroad.

I have read the site but have been told that Sex Park, K5, and Captain Nemo are the top places to go. Are these in the main City Center? If not, are they easily reachable by public transport? What are the typical prices (in Euros or English pounds) for, say, a 30 min session?

Also, is there a street scene/RLD in Prague and what are the prices like? Is it legal?

Could anyone recommend a decent, cheap hotel that is central? I have heard accommodation in Prague is expensive.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
