The most loved-up day of the year is almost here so we have rounded up the best Valentine's Day spa packages that all have one thing in common - none are more than an hour from the capital.

We have gorgeous spas in stunning locations across the country, but when time is of the essence and a long drive is out the question, we need to look closer to home for a little R&R.

Our favourite Valentine's Day spa packages are all within an hour or so drive from Dublin, (one is actually in the city itself), so if you fancy a quick night away with a little pampering, this is what we suggest.

Valentine's Day Spa Packages - The Heritage, Co Laois​

A little past the village of Killenard, The Heritage Hotel is the perfect spot to kick back and enjoy some pampering in one of Ireland's largest spas (picture, up top).

The four-star hotel and spa is hugely popular for weddings, and it has a fitness studio, 15-metre pool, jacuzzi, ESPA spa treatments and a full Thermal Suite. It's perfect for 24 hours away from Dublin, and its Midweek Spa Sleepover is a great Valentine's Day treat, €127pps, offer ends 31 March 2025.

The Midweek Spa Sleepover is a one-night break that will leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed. It's one of our favourite Valentine's Day spa packages due to the amount of features in its spa suite. There is a reduced accommodation rate on this package, and included in your package is:

• One night stay and freshly cooked breakfast
• A 25 Minute Spa Treatment (Choose a Mini Facial, Neck, Back & Shoulder Massage or a Scalp Massage) per adult
• A one-hour Thermal Spa Experience Journey per adult

Druid's Glen Resort, Co Wicklow​

Five-star Druid's Glen Resort in Co Wicklow is a 25-minute drive from Dublin and within easy reach of Brittas Bay, Roundwood and the Sally Gap.

The resort is famous for its two golf courses and it has a wonderful spa and pool using Image Skincare, Ground Wellbeing and it has its Barrog Rituals, a menu of spa treatments for those living with cancer and beyond. Its Valentine's Day Escape spa package is a two-night stay and treatments can be added if desired.

Valentine's Escape Spa Package​

The Valentine's Escape package at Druid's Glen Resort includes a two-night stay on February 14th and 15th and it costs €285pps. The package includes:

• Hand-dipped strawberries in our Sycamore Lounge on arrival
• A 3-course meal with a glass of prosecco at Hugo's Restaurant
• Exclusive access to the swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room
• Spa treatments can be added to the package, be sure to select at the time of booking to avoid disappointment

The Anantara Spa at The Marker Hotel, Dublin​

The five-star Marker Hotel is one the best hotels to stay in for spa lovers when they come to Dublin. The Anantara Spa has a full spa suite including a 23-metre infinity pool, sauna and steam room and it uses Seabody and Elemental Herbology for its body treatments and massages.

Yoga on the roof at the hotel's famous rooftop bar is a unique experience, and its location for exploring the city couldn't be better placed sitting on the docks of the Liffey. The Valentine's Package is one of the nicest Valentine's Day spa packages on our list, from €340 per couple.

If you are really out to impress, The Marker's spa package can be booked between 14 and 16 of February. The Valentine's Package includes:

• Accommodation with breakfast included
• A 60-minute couples massage at Anantara Spa
• A bouquet of roses
• A bottle of champagne upon arrival
• 2pm late checkout

K Spa at The K Club, Co Kildare​

The luxurious five-star K Club in Kildare sits on 550 acres of beautiful grounds where you can enjoy a little fishing, paddle boarding or a guided boat trip.

The K Spa is the real draw, it includes a 16.5-metre pool, hot tub, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and seven treatment rooms, two of which are private suites. The One Night Girls Getaway is one for you and your gals for a much-deserved break from work to have fun and a little pampering.

The Rainforest Spa looks out over the countryside from its location high above the gorgeous village of Enniskerry. Thirty minutes from Dublin (traffic allowing) the spa feels a world away from the city centre.

A day spa, Rainforest uses Summerhill Country House Hotel (also in the village) for the last of our top Valentine's Dap spa packages - The Wicklow Wellness Break, €210pps.
