Last time, after my session with my favourite, i completely forgot about the tips and was about to leave. Then i remembered, i didn't give any tips and the girl didn't even asked me about it.
So i did apologize to her and gave her a little bit more.

Absolutely, I'm with you on that. Just want to add that some guys prefer to keep things low key about the tips they leave, and that's totally fair. Bragging can definitely send the wrong message and lead to all sorts of speculation about what went down. Keeping it discreet is always a good move.

I understand what you are saying. But this isn't like the cashiers at Tim Hortons where there's no expectation of anything beyond the base wage. Similarly, servers in a restaurant don't tell you how much they want for a tip, but these days, if you tip 10%, most won't say anything, but they will complain to their coworkers about you. Tip 15% or 18% and no one will say anything either way. There's definitely an unspoken expectation and it helps everyone if it's a bit more clear.

I guess you just have your own range in mind? Like I would now minimum give $60, for a few standard things that I expected to happen in the room.

Back like at least 10 years ago, I once visited a place and had a really not much fun session, no teasing and first thing after flip is not touching my private parts but rather "how much tips?"

I should have just say legit massage and then walk out without tips, but I was too naive thinking she is offering and asked what she would allow, (another rookie mistake, I know)
It was like $60 for touching and $80 for under the clothes.

Back then was $160 for 30 minutes fs, and it would be with a young, MUCH MUCH younger one, and it's all included!
Hack, even other BodySlide shop was like $150 or so.

Why would I pay an old hag the same price for way way way less?
I declined all options.

As I left the boss did ask me about the session and I told her bad, really bad, as I usually tips $40 back then, sometime $50 / $60 if clothes are off. Nowadays $60 is pretty much the (not so) new minimum?
I heard rumors that the hag no longer works there after that, but I stayed away from that shop for a long time.

PS, this brings back memories that around that time, I once did give $60 for a session and the girl thought I gave too much and chase me for returning $20, which I told her, it's okay, you earned it.

Yeah. I think if people could be a bit more upfront it would be nice. Like for an hour, if you are happy with the service then, say, $50-70 range. If you are mostly happy the 40-60 and more if you feel the girl went the extra distance for you. Setting expectations helps everyone.

The reason why I brought this up… the first time I saw Vanna, I didn’t know how much to tip. After some prodding she finally said $25. I was like Uuh ok. Here’s $45. For an hour. I thought I was tipping more when in reality I was short changing the poor girl. Ugh. Now I totally feel like an asshole.

ETA: Vanna was the first girl I saw at a semi legit so I had absolutely no idea what the proper amount was..

Hah that’s another thing.. what each girl does for how much. I guess everything is YMMV…

How do the girls get paid anyways? Is it strictly by tips? An hourly minimum for being around + tips? A portion of the room fees? Is it standardized or does it vary on the girl? I guess this isn’t the thread to get those questions answered. But it would definitely affect how I perceive compensation for the time and effort spent.

She asked $25 for just massage I guess.Thats fair for clean legit massage.Vanna is one of the best I met at IU for strong solid massage.I remember paying hattie $20 for 45 mins massage only.She was happy with that.

I posted it above, and if everyone thinks I am paying too much, it's alright, you can all tell me about it, so I am paying higher than market rate. I won't change how I pay, but when I see a new girl, I would know not to mess it up (at least not too much) for everyone else.

It’s just about being sure that everyone is being somewhat fairly treated. Definitely girls that do more should get paid more. It really does go both ways. If a guy leaves a smaller tip, he’s likely to keep mum to avoid setting expectations. On the flip side, those who tip generously might not mention it to keep things special. So, both the over-tippers and under-tippers tend to keep it under wraps. It’s a funny balance, really!

As far as I know and heard from many places, cheap ass is paying maybe $20/hr or less!

Like think about it, nowadays for a decent take out is $20+, that would satisfy your hunger. Then $40 is a nice take out meal, and $60 is decent dine-in meal...

And everyone has their own opinion/budget. In the same plaza you can get a few bun to fill you up for $10, a 2 for 1 special for like $15 at the cafe/ restaurant, and or nearly $20 for some oxtails on the other side...

IU is a high end semi spa..Based on the super clean reno'd rooms, in room showers, top talent and customer service.. so when I visit iu, I'm not one to hold back when it counts..
