Day Seven

Final Day in Prague

Well, had to fit some tourist stuff in somewhere. A castle, a bridge, some buildings with clocks.. clocks, not cocks, where was your mind anyway? Oh yeah, on the update for Day Seven, here goes!

Learned something important today. Day Six

Day Five

Day Three

Ok, I've been here a full day and a half, and think I'll post a sort of blog of the days to see if that helps anyone. First though, much credit to the posts already in this forum as they have served as a starting place of things to see and do while here, and no, I'm not talking tourist attractions!

Day one

Tired of course from the long overnight flight, but planned for it with sleeping on the plane. Still, the day started in Prague around 930 in the morning and ended around 6 pm, what a rookie.. I crashed hard in the bed at night and had nothing left! But what a day...

The list of places to see was long, the maps printed before leaving, addresses, directions, tips.. all from the various posts on here. But there was one target place that I just had to go, and that was Sweet Paradise. First off, because they're open at noon, and secondly, the prices and various posts seemed to be pointing me there anyway!

Language aside, figuring out the subway wasn't that hard, and got this mongerer out to the general area of Sweet Paradise and eventually there's the sign and entrance. Walked in just past noon, and with the apologie of the bar tender, or bar maid to be exact, there weren't many girls there and it was sunday but more were planned. Probably one or two, very quiet. Sat there, had a drink, thought hmm.. maybe later and took off.. Yes, took off for some actual sight seeing of the beauty of Prague. Don't miss that either by the way if you visit!

Ended up back at Sweet Paradise mid afternoon, after something to eat, and tempted by the happy hour prices which are a pretty good discount from already great prices.
