I used to be 6 handicap when I was hitting my driver 290 average. In those days every hole is a birdie hole for me. Now I am old and hit my driver only 220 but still shooting mid 70s to low 80. No matter how good you are, or a 3 handicap, you will never shoot 75 regularly. Handicap is just a guide. I can shoot 72 -73 one day and I might shoot 85 -90 the next day. That's golf.
