Oh it's wild lol. I've also seen people write reviews here and include the date they visited. People forget that this hobby is illegal. It takes one wrong move and you're life is over.

It still blows my mind people are so open to just parking right outside a spa. Would they do that if their wife/GF was standing outside?

For Mema how did you know they were bylaw officers did they have uniforms on. If not it is highly unlikely they were bylaw officers. Unlikely to be police because there is no law that says you can't go into a spa or walk out of a spa or park in front of a spa. The only reason I could think police might be taking pictures would be organized criminal activity. In that case you wouldn't see them taking pictures. If someone was taking pictures most likely guy who thinks he needs to save the world. There is only one valid reason to not park outside spa and that is fear someone you know will see your car and pass judgement on you. Wait there could be another reason there might be a big puddle of water you don't want to step in.

I can understand not wanting to bump into friends or family members as you are walking in or out of the place
My understanding is that these places are in buildings that are not zone properly for their business which they will be given notice's to move or pad lock the doors
There is nothing that they can do to customer’s walking in

My other understanding is that this places do not have the proper license to operate the business in this case they will be place on notice and eventually given fines eventually pad locked doors

I really do not think the customer that is going for a massage will ever be fined
I think as long as you are not ever caught in the transaction of money for sexual service (if that type of thing happens in these places)
I do not believe these places are going to be raided anytime soon but unfortunately to avoid long term problems they are going to have to move

I think I linked a York region article about what happened in new market. The police are not going to further criminalize these businesses to get them to move - it takes too long and it’s too costly. The business license is the cheapest and easiest way to move the businesses.. as such the customers nor employees have to worry.

Exactly. There is no parking spots that are right outside the front doors on the south side. It is all roadside / sidewalk parking. The south side fills up alot due to the restaurant and indoor golf. So, no one will think twice when the parking lot is full and you just happened to find a spot there. Sometimes you have to park on the east side which is largely only spas.
