There has been a very long and determined movement in Canada to legalize weed, there are good and recent examples of it's legalization in other countries, it is a proven money maker, takes money out of the hands of organized crime, there is less of a stigma against weed, and more than likely Justin Trudeau has tried it without any negative experience, maybe even liked it.

I’ve done the math and there are over 2,000,000 visits to MPs and SPs in the GTA every year. Maybe more. Granted there are repeats in there, still a huge number of people that frequent such places. Spas are there because there is a market.

If you read up on it, it’s over a billion dollar industry in Canada.
