What do you do to your hobby tools?

I don't think I'll be carrying a lot of hobby tools heading into TJ. I'll admit that when I go I over do it a little bit. In my head I'm thinking I'm going for a buffet of chicas. Not really realistic because then some chicas don't want to use our rubbers.

Just the other day this dude who was ahead of me was stopped by Customs Border Patrol heading into TJ. If they would have stopped me I don't know what story I would have made up. Now that I've seen it first hand is beyond me why they've never stopped me. Say suspicion of being a "foot soldier"(watched that in Border Wars).

I forget I'm carrying hobby tools until I get off the cab and then I go damn I have to throw them away. Everything happens so fast on the way back. I'm in La Coahuila and before I know it I'm at the border. I hate to throw the condoms and other hobby paraphernalia but yup I don't feel comfortable carrying them.

One time my buddy bought a big sombrero and he was wearing it the whole time even while crossing back and the border patrol asked him if was bringing something from Mexico and he said no. I thought it was pretty funny.

BTW I have always wanted to buy a wrestling mask on my way back but I always forget. They are cool masks. IMO the best mask is between Fishman, Canek, or Dr. Wagner.

I get rid of anything Hecho en Mexico before I cross the border back to the states.

Pesos are all dumped and given to the charity lady right before the Mexico - US turnstyle. Or sometimes given to kids.

Any sodas or Mexican candies are consumed or trashed.

I never purchase souvenirs because I don't want the wifey asking questions about where I got the Wrestler's mask, or bulldog statue.

The only thing I carry back are tacos in my stomach and memories in my head. Hopefully, I don't carry any stds.

I agree with Sampson. I carry extra tools and toys all the time and have never been bothered. If you do not feel comfortable carrying them across the border, so be it. But at the very least, please give the extra condoms to one of the chicas so they do not go to waste.

On the way back to the states I usually throw away brand new condoms I didn't use or any hobby paraphernalia that might compromise me. In short I want to avoid any problems. I know that carrying them doesn't constitute a crime but carrying a good quantity might make me look guilty. Anyways do you or anyone you know ever been caught with hobby paraphernalia by the border patrol? Or do you throw them away to avoid any problems or maybe you don't?
