Love this thread.
1. Huge respect for you. This thread feels like a chat in a dating website where you are getting to know more about someone you have right-swiped. Or in this case about 500 guys have now right-swiped.
2. You are clearly intelligent, witty and well read. I'm a 4x reader too, but have never heard of the book: "The Bastard King" by Jean Hardy . I can't find it anywhere. Is it some auto-correct mistake?
3. Any other books you recommend?
4. Favourite photographer and favourite artist?
5. Best of luck on any post-covid retirement plans.
1. Thank you.
2. My mistake - the author is Jean Plaidy. The copyright year is 1974 so it is probably long out of print. Try eBay or other used book websites.
3. "The Jungle Book" - Rudyard Kipling
Game of Thrones series by George R R Martin
"Jane Eyre" - Charlotte Bronte
"Wuthering Heights" - Charlotte Bronte
"Defensive Living" - Bo Hardy
"The Gift Of Fear" - Gavid De Becker
"Rich Dad Poor Dad" - Robert Kiyosaki
"The Game" - Neil Strauss
Harry Potter series - J K Rowling
__________ In Death series - J D Robb
Girl With The Dragon Tattoo series - Stieg Larsson
"The Storyteller" - Jodi Piccoult
"Cathedral Of The Sea" - Ildefonso Falcones
"The Winter Rose" - Jennifer Donnelly
To name a few
4. None at this time - though I do have Ansel Adams' book in my collection, just haven't gotten to it.
5. Thank you.
Edit to add:
"Dr Mutter's Marvels" - Christen O'Keefe Aptowicz
"The Hundred Year Lie" - Randall Fitzgerald
