Very valid point. I don't think anyone here ever suggested that all an MPA or any other sex worker can do is their choosen profession. However, for the moment, these girls have decided that this is the most advantageous and financially rewarding career route for them, or else they would do something else.

Most people will choose the job that they can garner the highest wage and use as a experience builder for their dream job, if they aren't in their dream job already. It's just that most people don't view the sex industry a viable option so they don't have it to fall back on.

Hey you are entitled to try, but spend a sec thinking WHY we find it insulting...we dont work on corners, we arent desperate, and we are of value. Bartering will rarely get you good service, especially when there are clients that tip. You dont wanna be labelled a cheapo. Regardless if its posted or not, (because thats a matter of bylaw restrictions, not 'anything goes) research can easily lead you to what the prices are at any given place. You have shown your true colors here on massageplanet.net, I think it's a good thing you don't reveal yourself, it would do you more bad than good business wise. Actually I will add to what I think about you. I think that you have self esteem problems. Why else would you get so upset and insulted if someone offered you less money? Why else would you say "we are of value" nobody said you are not of value. We just tried to explain the fact that your value (just like any other business) might change. That's a FACT. The problem is, deep down inside you think yourself that you are of no value. That's why you are so sensitive on the price. Charging a certain amount makes it OK for you to do what you do. You wouldn't respect yourself if you gave HJs for $40.00. That is why you compared working on corners and being of value in the same sentence.

Also, I still think that being an MPA is all you got at the moment in your life. Why else would you feel so passionate and argue about it with a bunch of perverts (like myself) and spend so much time on massageplanet.net?

And don't lie! You are not an SP because you "would like it too much"? Show me one girl that actually likes the job part of SPing, show me any girl in the sex industry that does not only do it for the money?

Under charging? The high end spas charge the same rates as a FS session with an SP if you go for the BS, as I do. Then when you ask for some modest sticky extras some say no. Then they expect repeat visits? What astonishes me is that some even give a tip on top of the tip??? I'm not cheap, I've spent in the 10's of thousands on the hobby over the years, but I expect value for the money. If I worked in downtown TO or if SP incall locations were located in more convenient parts of the GTA I'd be going there more often. The MP scene is loosing its luster for me. Just too many mediocre sessions with hot girls who think they can get away with sub par sessions.

Unless I am mistaken, why would an MPA give a shit about oil or powder? That is a cost to the spa, not the MPA.

Chances are she was stuck between a rock and a hard place and you scored yourself a sympathy tug. Maybe she liked you and gave you an early Christmas present.

Either way, if you don't have the cash, stay home or find locations better suited to your current financial constraints.

Hi gentlemen, (soon to be MPA here) I have finished school. Have my degree and I am working in my desired field. I make really good money for my age. The downside is, now I have huge student loan and I would like to buy a house sooner than later. I'm also looking for something a little out of the norm...a little exciting. I agree with MPAsquared and at the same time I can't disagree with what most of you are saying because I haven't spent any time speaking with MPA and hearing about their dreams/aspirations. I really don't think the mentality of saying one thing and doing another is exclusive to MPA. I have a quick point for you guys to think about. Why is it, that there are so many threads that start out like "has anyone seen... If you could bring back." Something tells me, just maybe, these women who some of you hold so "highly" had a plan and it wasn't the only thing they could do or were doing at the time.

Isn't this true for most women working in this trade?

A stripper once very angrily told me that she wasn't "cheap"; if she were then she'd work on the street and massage parlors (there you go MPA2). That I hurt her sense of self worth by insinuating she fucked 20 guys at the strip club a day. But of course, she has no problems sucking cock in a strip club for $100 or more and she's open about it.

So inherently, the more $$ they charge for a sexual act, it becomes "okay". The less that is offered or if circumstances force them to cut their price, they get angry/frustrated.

It's a supreme system of moral justification and denial.

1) If all the top spas started charging $50.00 at the door and $120.00 for a BS, do you think the spa that you work at (given that you work at a top spa like Allure, SRM or HFH) would still charge today's rates or would they follow?

Furthermore, what MPA2 fails to see is the fact that she did not come up with the price she charges, she didn't set the $60 / $80 / $100 price structure in a top Spa. It is simply the price that the industry and the customers settled on for the time being. Hypothetically, if more and more MP customers start asking for a price drop and if they don't get it they walk out of the spa, then the prices WILL start dropping or the spas will go out of business.

It's just like the $5 $10 and the $20 dances over the years.
